Lightly bumped spine ends, lender's shelf number label on spine, slight rubbing to lower corners. The Reports reprinted here are for several reasons, of great historical interest. Considered together they provide one of the most detailed, and certainly one of the most reliable, descriptive accounts of American manufacturing methods in the middle of the nineteenth century.
