Unpaginated (circa 100pp), with numerous black and white and coloured illustrations. In patterned mustard-coloured cloth boards. Landscape 8vo. Boards very gently rubbed at corners, a little more markedly at spine ends. Previous owner's name inked opposite title page, else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. A fascinating account of the development of the Sudbrook Pulp Mill in Monmouthshire, together with analysis of the local natural resources - water and trees - providing raw materials for the mill. Different trees - oak, pine, willow etc - are micro photographed and their paper-making potential analysed.
