Text in Italian and German. A facsimile of the Catalano Estense Mappamondo (world map), with commentary. One of a numbered edition limited to 999 copies, this being No. 233. 204pp, with a large fold-out colour facsimile reproduction of the map at the end of the volume. Quarter bound in blue cloth over paler blue cloth with gilt titles on spine. Elephant Folio. The volume itself is clean and crisp throughout, one page towards the end has been slightly miscut in the manufacturing process. In its original dust jacket, a little toned at edges and lightly sunned over the spine. Presented in its original thin slipcase. The slipcase is a little rubbed at edges, mildly marked with a couple of chips and an old price label affixed with tape to rear panel.
