1945 reprint of 1936 1st thus edition (second impression). 116pp, colour plate frontispiece and five further colour plate illustrations, all by Harrison Cady. In green cloth boards with black stamped illustration and lettering. 12mo. Cloth is a little rubbed and faded at edges. Remains of previous owner's stamp on front free endpaper. Minor strip tanning on rear endpapers. In its original, illustrated, dust jacket, a little soiled, rubbed at edges, a few mild creases, bruised spine ends, crack along spine fold, small mark on spine joint. Dust jacket now protected in Mylar-style wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Charming vintage book.
