20pp stapled souvenir theatre programme, in light card covers. 8vo. Covers a little faded and marked, and lightly rubbed at edges, stapled oxidized. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring the occasional sign of fingering and some smudge marks around advertisements. A theatre programme for the Mid-Tyne Amateur Operatic Society's Production of Merrie England in February 1923, at that Empire Theatre in Jarrow, featuring details of the society, a cast list (M Rogers, T B Wheatley, Norman Wright, F J Lewis, J Corbitt, H W Low, A Scott, etc) with photographs of the leading players and numerous contemporary advertisements for local businesses. A rare survival.
