First edition, first printing. Published for The Crime Club by Collins. 252pp [4]. In orange cloth-covered boards with black titles on spine. 8vo. Covers are worn and faded, lightly soiled around edges, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine tips, marked and faded over spine. Text block edges dust-stained and a little spotting. Hint of toning on endpapers only, some light and occasional spotting on first and last few pages. Slightly loose. A decent but not pretty 1st edition copy of this Hercule Poirot mystery from the Queen of Crime. Not in collectible condition but perhaps will fill a gap in a collection until a better copy can be sourced and afforded.
