Ninth printing. 256pp. In green cloth-covered boards with black rules and lettering. Top edge sprayed green. 12mo. Moderately rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends, a couple of small nicks in cloth. Text block edges a little toned. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper, various stamps of Grindal House Library on the endpapers. Gutter strained ahead of title page, else internally neat and clean. One of Wodehouse's earliest novels - first published in 1906 - it was his first intended for an adult audience.
