Cloth gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original now worn and faded dust jacket, chapped at edges, creased along spine folds, heavily scuffed at head of spine. This story is narrated by a fourteen year old boy, the son of the District Officer in Lower Burma, who discovers a plot by a villainous and vengeful trader to lead a native gang to attack the town and kill his father.
