First edition, first impression. 320pp. In brown cloth boards, black illustration on front panel, gilt on red lettering on spine. 8vo. Boards a little rubbed at edges, rounded on spine ends. Text block edges a little tanned and a couple of small dark marks, hint of tanning to pages. In its original dust jacket, lightly rubbed at corners, a little chipping on leading edge and upper rear edge, chipped at head of sunned spine, circa 1.5 inch loss at spine base. Jacket now protected in a Brodart-style wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
