Maps illustrating the story on endpapers. In red cloth boards with black titles on spine. 8vo. Boards a little rounded and faded spine ends. a tad faded along extreme upper edge. Top text block edge dust darkened. Previous owner's name neatly on slightly toned endpapers, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket, a little rubbed and chipped at corners and spine ends, with short crack on leading edge. Dust jacket also by Cecil Aldin. Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style clear wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
