[1947] First edition (simultaneously published in the UK by Victor Gollancz). 204pp. Quarter bound in white cloth over grey paper-covered boards. 8vo. Boards worn, rounded at corners and spine tips, a little discoloured at edges. Text block edges tanned. Previous owner's name on front paste down, endpapers a little toned, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Unjacketed.
Keppel-Jones was one of the leading historians of South Africa history in the early and mid 20th century. This is his 'predictive' history, which really was published in 1947, in which he foretells what he expects will happen in South Africa over the next 70 odd years.
