First English edition. 318pp. Blue cloth-covered boards, silver titles on spine. 8vo. Lightly rubbed spine heel, slightly cocked. Top text block edge tanning and foxing, remaining edges starting to tan and fox. Endpapers just starting to fox and tan, bookseller's label on front pastedown. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has 2cm closed tear at spine head and front joint, 3cm closed tear at front bottom corner, shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, foxing to rear, not price clipped.
