First edition, first impression. In grey cloth-covered boards with deep blue lettering on spine. 12mo. Cloth a little rounded at corners and spine tips. Prize presentation plate, dated 1946, on front free endpaper, mildly warping page else neat, clean, bright and tight internally. In its original, fully illustrated, price clipped dust jacket,, faded, a little rubbed at corners and mildly chapped along upper edge.
