Volume III (of four) only. Twelfth edition. 520pp. Full calf's leather binding, five raised bands on a plain spine. 8vo. Leather worn, rubbed all round edges, rounded and scuffed on corners and spine ends, short crack at spine head, some marks. Binding loosened, front free endpaper partially detached, heavily cracked gutter ahead of title page (with possibly a couple of leaves ahead of title page absent). Some mild browning and spotting, especially in page margins, a couple of flat corner creases.
