Undated but circa 1880. x, 436pp, with one fold-out map, decorative initial caps and page decorations. In decorated brown cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering front and spine. Brown endpapers. 16mo. Cloth is worn and faded, rubbed at edges and rounded at corners and spine ends, gilt lettering tarnished. Text block edges toned. Hinges cracked front and rear, loosening backstrip. Previous owner's name inked on front free endpaper verso. Some light pencil annotations on p. 68, else internally neat, clean and tight. An evocative vintage guide to the study of the life of Jesus Christ.
