First edition, second impression. 196pp, with colour plate frontispiece and further line drawings in text. In blue cloth-covered boards with silver titles on spine. Cartographic endpapers. 8vo. Slightly cocked. Cloth moderately rubbed at corners and spine ends. Hint of toning on text block edges. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, second state, dust jacket, price clipped, a little shelf worn and bumped on edges, chipped at extreme spine ends, lightly toned on verso. Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
