First UK edition, first impression (previously published in the United States, 1974). 284pp. Brown cloth boards, gilt titles. Peach endpapers. 8vo. Cloth a little brushed at spine ends. Top text block edge a tad dusty, some faint spotting on other edges. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket, not price clipped, bright and crisp but with small reddish scratch marks around upper leading corner. Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
