Volume II only. 594pp [2, blank]. Half bound in tan leather over marbled boards, gilt titles on red leather spine label. Coloured endpapers. 8vo. Boards are worn, rubbed at edges, leather worn and chipped at corners and over spine and joints. Front hinge cracked. Minor discolouration at edges of endpapers. Faint and occasional spotting on first and last few pages. Armorial bookplate of Edward Lowry Barnwell on front paste down. Barnwell (1813-1887) was an antiquarian and schoolmaster, and founding member of the Cambrian Archaeological Association. Armorial bookplate of Herbert Hanbury Smith-Carrington on the front free endpaper. Carrington-Smith (died 1917) was a one time mayor of Worcester who purchased the Ashby Folville estate in Leicestershire in 1890.
