First edition, first printing. 282pp, monochrome plate frontispiece and numerous further plate illustrations, some figures etc in text. In mid blue cloth-covered boards with silver titles on spine. 8vo. Cloth a little worn and faded, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a little sunned over spine. Front hinge cracked.
