First thus. 246pp, with numerous woodcut illustrations by Eric Fraser, maps on endpapers. Quarter bound in maroon art leather with scholco almoline cloth sides, blocked in gilt with a special design by Jeff Clements. 8vo. Volume is fresh and bright throughout. Housed in its original slipcase; slipcase shows just a little shelf wear, very slightly rubbed on corners.

A lovely copy of this delightful, hardish to find first printing of the Folio Society's edition with illustrations by Eric Fraser.
