Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring a couple of small rusk marks on endpapers. In its original pictorial dust jacket, slightly shelf worn. A Georgian novel. Georgette Heyer, an English novelist and short story writer, effectively established the historical romance genre and the sub-genre of Regency Romances. She has remained popular among readers since the publication of her first novel, The Black Month, in 1921. Although perhaps best known (and collected) for her Regency Romances, which were written with great attention to historical detail, she also wrote thrillers and detective fiction. The uniform edition of her novels, published by Heinemann in the 1960s comprised 29 novels in total. We have many of her works in stock, and offer generous discounts to those ordering more than one title at a time - please inquire.
