Text in German. 26 issues of Die Woche published during the latter part of 1916, bound together into a single volume. Copiously illustrated. Quarter bound in linen over speckled paper-covered boards. Tall 4to. Boards rubbed all rounded edges, worn with some mild scratches on flat surfaces, spine cloth gently pushed at ends. Pages are a little browned in margins and a little brittle. Die Woche was a German mass-produced, illustrated weekly news and commentary magazine with a strong focus on images and picture of the day. The issues offered here, from the latter part of 1916 carry much news and reporting of the first world war.
