Eighth edition. [Circa 1820]. 276pp, with hand-coloured engraved plate frontispiece, 29 further hand-coloured engraved plates and occasional further illustrations in text. Extra illustrated title page with hand-coloured vignette. All engravings after drawings by Thomas Rowlandson. Half bound in red calf's leather over marbled paper boards. 8vo. Boards rubbed at edges, a little scuffed around spine ends and joints, a few small white marks on rear panel, faded. Text block edges toned and endpapers spotted. Previous owner's inscription on front paste down; also a small bookplate else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. All engravings after drawings by Thomas Rowlandson.
