Text in Spanish. 144pp, copiously illustrated with engraved drawings. In red cloth-covered boards with black lettering and decorations, blind embossed and tooled on rear panel. 8vo. Boards heavily worn, marked, rubbed and frayed all round edges, cracking along backstrip. Binding broken with text block very loose and some leaves detached. Some toning on free endpapers and gentle edge wear to pages, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. An extensive catalogue promoting the products of Shand, Mason and Co, dating from 1889-90, featuring many of its fire engines and other fire-fighting equipment. A scarce survival from the late 19th century providing a fascinating insight into the state of fire-fighting at the time.
