First edition. xiv, 324pp, with colour plate frontispiece and further black and white plate illustrations. In orange cloth-covered boards with black and gilt motif on front panel and gilt lettering on black faux spine label. 8vo. Very gently rubbed at edges, a little rounded at spine base, else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original dust jacket, now protected in a Brodart-style protective sleeve. Dust jacket a little faded and shelf worn and bumped along lower edge.
