A little rubbed at spine ends. Gift inscription, dated 1911, inked on front free endpaper; endpapers a little toned in margins else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
A neat, little volume, apparently privately printed. A biography of Sir Thomas Dickson Archibald (1817-1876), from Nova Scotia but becoming judge of the High Court of Justice in England; and of his wife, Lady Sarah Archibald. Hard to find ovolume. Archibald was one of nineteen children, the son of Samuel Archibald and grandson of Charles Dickson of Onslow, Canada and a member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly.
