First impression, first impression. vi, 216pp, colour plate frontispiece and line drawings in text. In green cloth-covered boards with black lettering on spine. Cloth gently rounded on spine ends. A little faint spotting on text block edges. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, illustrated dust wrapper, a little bumped especially at edges, short closed tear on rear lower corner leadings to some creasing along lower edge, slightly sunned over spine.
Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
Frank Richards was one of the many pen names of Charles Hamilton (1876-1961), one of the most popular and prolific authors of boy's school stories and long-running series stories featuring recurring characters.
