18pp stapled booklet, generously illustrated black and white, in laminated stiff card covers. 4to. Significant shelf wear and some soiling to card covers. Hint of toning and some light fingering to pages.
A commemorative issue of the booklet for the annual charity ball, this volume contains a detailed history of Leeds Fire Brigade, starting with the first formation of the Committee for the Fire Brigade in 1860. The history was produced to mark the end of the Leeds Fire Brigade which ceased to exist on 31 March 1974, when it became a part of the newly formed West Yorkshire Metropolitan County Fire Service.
