Undated but circa 1985. 72pp spiral-bound booklet in perspex covers, illustrated in colour and black and white. 4to. Neat, clean, bright and tight. Author's compliment's slip loosely laid in.
The author tells his story of being a fireman in Southend in the 1960s, in Essex in the 1970s, at the BP Refinery Fire Service on the Isle of Grain in the late 60s and early 70s and lattered with the Kent Fire Brigade throught the late 70s and early 1980s, with much detail on particular incidents he attended and general history of the brigades he served with.
