Text block edges dust marked; internally a little spotting on endpapers else neat, clean, bright and tight. Cover and title page design and decorations by Edward Bawden. In its original, second state unclipped, dust jacket, priced at 3s 6d. Dust wrapper is worn; chapped and discoloured at edges, with minor loss and crumbling at spine ends, some discolouration around backstrip.
