First edition, first impression. 28pp, colour illustrations throughout. In pictorial boards, canvas spine. Slim 4to. Boards gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Minor signs of fingering on front free endpaper else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original matte pictorial dust wrapper, price clipped, worn, edge-chapped, scuffed around spine, minor marks, small stamp on inner front flap. Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
An early Krauss/Sendak collaboration, now hard to find.
