First edition. 88pp, plus 78 plate illustrations of Hogarth's drawings. In red cloth-covered boards, blind embossed on the front panel and gilt lettering on spine. Tall 8vo. Cloth a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a few mild marks, wrinkled around lower leading corner on reverse, sunned over spine. Text block edges darkened. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring a some small pencil annotations on rear pastedown endpaper.
