First edition. 314pp, illustrated with black and white plates, maps, drawings and diagrams in text.  Blue cloth-covered boards with silver titles on spine.  8vo.  Cloth very slightly pushed at spine ends.  Previous owner's name neatly inked on front pastedown else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.   In its original laminated dust wrapper, a little rubbed at edges and lightly bumped at base of spine.
