First edition.  340pp, with portrait plate frontispiece and eleven further half-tone plates.  Brown cloth-covered boards with black lettering and decoration on the front panel, gilt titles on spine.  8vo.  Cloth moderated rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, indentation on spine piercing cloth.  Text block edges slightly toned.  One gutter strained else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.

Not an autobiography in the strict sense but more a personal narrative describing some of the interesting people Klein met along his busy highway of a life in music and drama.
