First edition. 284pp, with occasional monochrome illustrations in text. Blue cloth-covered boards with black titles front and spine. 8vo. Cloth is worn and marked, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, faded especially over a sunned spine. Text block edges a little toned. Bruckner (1824 – 1896) was an Austrian composer and organist known for symphonies and sacred music. Unlike some other musical radicals, he respected other celebrated musicians and his musical compositions did not find universal favour in the music world.
