Text in German. 80pp, copiously illustrated mostly in black and white. Quarter bound in brown cloth under pink paper-covered boards; brown signature on front, gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Very lightly rubbed spine ends, quite cocked. Text block edges just starting to tan. Endpapers starting to tan. Otherwise internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has light shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage.
A German painter, Leo Freiherr von König (1871-1944), a member of the Berlin Secession. His works included portraits of Bernhard Rust and Joseph Goebbels.
