Gulliver's Voyages to Lilliput and Brobingnag

1st thus (first  Folio Society edition).  154pp, with 12 colour plate illustrations, all by Edward Bawden. Quarter bound in red cloth over marbled paper boards, gilt decorations and lettering. 8vo.  Boards a little rubbed at edgs, slightly bowed, minor bump on upper leading corner.  Previous owner's name neatly inked on front pastedown; endpapers have hint of toning, else neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original wrapper, worn, chapped at edges with crumbling and minor loss at spine head, minorly toned on verso, shelf worn.

Stunning colour plate illustrations by leading illustrator Edward Bawden, but also notable as a Folio Society book to be published with a dust jacket rather than in a slipcase.
