First edition, first impression.  320pp. Black publisher's cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine.  8vo.  Cloth gently rounded at corners and spine ends.  Some soiling to text block edges and endpapers; rear endpaper and last true page have some creasing.  Previous owner's inscription, dated1 1933, inked on the front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original dust wrapper, price clipped, rubbed at edges, worn and a little light soiling all over, sunned and brittle over spine.
