Unpaginated but circa 70pp.  Pink cloth-covered boards with gilt vignette on upper panel, gilt lettering on spine.  Cream, illustrated endpapers.  8vo. Cloth very slightly pushed at spine ends else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  In its original illustrated, laminated dust wrapper, price clipped, very slightly bumped at edges.

This book has two fronts, two backs and two ways of being opened.  It is a portrait gallery of characters and there are two ways of looking at each one.  Rex Whistler drew the characters; his brother Laurence wrote the stories.  Clever.
