Complete in three volumes. Reprints. Set uniformly bound in green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering. 8vo. Cloth a little pushed at corners and spine ends. Text block edges dull. Internally a little toning on endpapers else neat, clean and tight. Each volume has a previous owner's name inked neatly on the front free endpaper. In shelf worn and chipped dust wrappers, a little rubbed at edges with occasional minor loss at spine ends. Newspaper clipped relating to one of Somerset Maugham's plays loosely laid into volume one.
Somerset Maugham's collected plays were first published, in six volumes, in 1931. In this new edition, the same 18 plays are contained in three volumes, six plays in each. Somerset Maugham himself selected which plays, from among the thirty or so he wrote, should appear in the collected plays.
