Reprint. x, 332pp, with twenty colour plate illustrations by Sr W Russell Flint. Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on the spine. Top edge sprayed blue. Title page printed in red and black. 8vo. Cloth is a little tired, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Gift inscription neatly inked on the front free endpaper. Some minor signs of handling internally. In its original price-clipped, worn and chapped dust wrapper, with minor loss around ends of a sunned spine, shelf worn. Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
An elegantly produced, fine translation of Homer's Odyssey, made special by the stunning colour plate illustrations - now hard to find in this edition.
