Undated but circa 1980. 54pp, with 33 colour photographic illustrations. In laminated light card covers. 8vo. Covers significantly rubbed all round edges and joints, chip on fore-edge, heavily shelf worn. Dated written on title page. A few mild marks and some signs of handling internally but generally neat and clean.
Not a pretty copy but perfectly readable, complete and firmly bound; now a hard to find title and an interesting introduction to Mystras and its history - the Greek town situated on Mount Taygetus, above ancient Sparta and below a Frankish castle, which once served as the capital of the Byzantine Despotate of the Morea in the 14th and 15th centuries, and a UNESCO world heritage site.
