24pp, with colour and black and white photographic illustrations.  Blue cloth-covered board with gilt motif on front panel and gilt lettering on the spine.  Illustrated endpapers/  Square 8vo.  Cloth a little pushed at spine ends and corners, slightly shelf worn.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.

A history and description of the famous Greek vase, known as the Portland Vase, and the story of Josiah's Wedgwood's vases taking their inspiration from the vase, after its years long loan from the Duke of Portland.
