[1947]. 78pp, monochrome plate frontispiece and further black and white plate illustrations. Blue cloth covered boards with gilt-stamped titling. 8vo. Cloth a little rubbed at corners and spine ends, worn, with front panel very slightly bowed. Internally pages perhaps a little less than bright else neat, clean, bright and tight. A very hard to find title. Boutflower (1863-1942) was an Anglican bishop, from a distinguished clerical family. He serve in England and in Japan as Bishop of South Tokyo, later becoming Bishop of Southampton; and was a staunch advocation of the missionary service throughout his career.
