Signed by author on title page. First edition, first impression. 360pp. Green cloth-covered boards; gilt titles on spine;.  Maps on endpapers. 8vo. Lightly rubbed spine ends, lower front corner bumped. Text block edges tanning. Pages tanning otherwise internally neat, clean and tight. Dust jacket slightly tanned, has very light shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, not price clipped.  Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
