Two stories by Emily M Bryant bound in one volume. 1901 & 1903 in near contemporary commercial binding. Children of the Village (122pp) has colour frontispiece by Leonard Skeets and numerous monochrome illustrations throughout, many of which appear to be by W Walker. The Trio (128pp) has monochrome frontispiece and numerous further illustrations by J A Walker. All bound decorative red cloth. Gilt titles on spine. 12mo. Boards a little rubbed at edges and faded with some staining on rear board but still attractive. Front free endpaper absent. Very occasional spotting internal. Neat and clean.
