Identified internally as 5th edition, but more likely a 5th printing of the first edition, which was published in 1907. Bound in green velvet calf suede with yapped cover edges, top edge gilt - all other edges rough cut; silk ribbon marker bound in; two tone title page. Marker is crumpled, and inscription, dated 1911, on front free endpaper, else near fine. In original glassine wrapper and presentation box. The box is a little rubbed but still strong & has owner's name and date on top and bottom. Lovely copy - would make super and unusual gift.
