Not dated but c. 1890. xlviii, 148pp. Blind embossed blue cloth boards with gilt titles front and spine, all edges gilt. Large folio. Rubbed at edges and joints, a few marks, one corner bumped. 40 full page illustrations, tissue-guarded. Occasional spotting. Three previous owner's names on fly leaf and title page. Pilgrim's Progress, prefaced with an essay on the life John Bunyan by Rev Thomas Scott. Handsome and significance volume, now a little hard to find.
