223pp plus publishers adverts at end. Monochrome plate frontis by Paul Hardy. Handsomely bound in blue cloth with stamped decoration. Boards a little rubbed at edges, cloth frayed t head of spine, and faded. Text block edges toned. Outstanding cover designed by the collectible book designer, Ethel Larcombe. A little treasure of a volume. The volume is undated but appears to come from the early 20th century. This is consistent with Larcombe's career - she was a freelance book designer but frequently contracted to work for Talwin Morris, the Art Director at Blackie & Son from 1893 to 1909. 0
