First edition, first printing. 316pp. Indexed. Pull out map at rear. Signed and dated, March 11 1968, by the author on the front free endpaper, and inscribed Mr Michael King with the author's compliments. The author was previously the MP for Clapham. A long time watcher of the spread of communism, when he lost his seat in Parliament in 1964, it gave him fresh opportunities to study events on a global scale. He visited Viet Nam as a War Correspondent in 1967. This is his account of the chequered history of Viet Nam and the background of South East Asian politics. Tight, clean and crisp volume in like (and very attractive) dust jacket.
